Good news guys, the server is finally up! Before I go any further, add this IP to your favourties: 178.239.163.38:27015

The server is pretty much fully complete, except for a few minor things. Also, our automatic donation system has also been fully coded, and you can view the benefits of Premium on the "Donate" page. The server is fully linked in with Sourcebans, so if you are ever banned (which I hope you aren't!) you will be able to view the ban information from the website, such as the ban reason, expire time etc.

Please note, I won't personally be trying fully to get the server popular until Thursday, but both Jordan and AntiMinge should be on tomorrow!

Okay, so a few of you are probably wondering what's going on, this thread is intended to explain the situation to you.

Basically, Tom bought a dedicated box, agreeing with myself and Jake that he was going to run Windows on it, not Linux. Tom couldn't get Windows to work for whatever reason, so he consulted Jake about the problem, and between them they couldn't solve it (I wasn't made aware of this issue) so Debian was installed. Now, Debian has problems hosting Source games, and thus the servers crashed every half an hour as a result. Obviously, this couldn't continue, and as I wasn't directly involved in the setting up of the servers, and was assured it would all work, when I found out this was the issue I was pissed off.

So, push comes to shove Jake and Tom are now no longer owners, and I plan to run this community by myself with the help of a few real life friends here and there. I already have a bunch of great admins on my steam friends list who will support us all the way, so keep an eye out for the new server!

PS. The first server will be launched near the end of next week, hopefully ready for the weekend. It will be running Jailbreak. Once this is popular, we will then move onto hosting a Surf/RPG/DM.

Sourcebans is now completely setup for both GMod and CSS. This means that you'll have to click on the 'Servers' tab to view the bans. This system is much more useful, as it allows us to manage bans much more easily, whereas before we had two separate ban pages, one for CSS and one for GMod.

In addition to this, the "Servers" page has been removed, and it now links straight to the bans website, as this displays more relevant information in regards to the servers.

Admins will need a Sourcebans account before they can ban players ingame, and this account will enable them to also ban and unban from the website.

The Dedicated Box has been bought! We are now in the process of setting it all up and installing everything that's required to run the servers smoothly. Please be patient, we hope to have them up by the weekend!
